Company and Partnership Law

Course Description
The course presents students with an introduction to company and partnership law. It discusses matters as to how a company is established, the nature of a company as a separate legal entity, the nature of shares and shareholders’ rights and obligations, and the role of directors and their duties. It also focus on partnership law and will cover such matters as when the law recognizes that a partnership has been established, the legal nature of partners’ relationships with each other and the relationship of a partnership to third parties.
