This course explores the use of Project
Management methodology in order to manage purchasing and logistic projects and
programs. It also explores application
of the Project Management life cycle methodology, including initiating the
project, planning, executing, and closing. The course develops skills in building
effective project teams which includes outsourced support. It also develops skills in the initial design
of project strategy which includes scope, scheduling, budgets, resources, and
risk management. The course concludes by exploring Performance Management methodology,
from a stakeholder perspective, to ensure systemic learning occurs during and
after a project or program.
