An apprentice electrician needs a substantial amount of theoretical knowledge to back up their on-the-job learning. This course provides participants with  knowledge and skills about electrical circuits and test equipment along with the fundamentals of working safely. They will also be shown how to read scale drawings, plans and diagrams, an essential skill when installing electrical systems as well as maintaining them or carrying out repairs. For those interested in pursuing a career as a ship’s electrician, we provide courses on working with electricity in a marine setting.
