This course explores global corporate sourcing
and its connection with the end- customer’s satisfaction with the product or
service provided. Students learn how to conduct
the make-buy analysis; evaluate the risk/reward of outsourcing from a holistic
perspective; evaluate the potential impact upon the end-customers and brand
recognition; provide leadership necessary to motivate those not under one’s
direct control; anticipate long term sustainability issues; and manage the
processes.
