Course Description
The course provides students with a broad but critical introduction to the understanding of management information needs. The course also focuses on the medium of information transfer and storage, information as a resource, the characteristics of information age, and information systems. The course further provides analysis in data and knowledge as a corporate resources, data processing, system theory, system environment, nature of organisations and organizational communication.


This course provides students with concepts, techniques and tools to design, analyze and improve operational capabilities of an organization. The course covers a broad range of application domains and industries such as electronics, online services, sustainability, insurance, health care, retail, fashion, automotive, manufacturing, and more. The topics covered include: process analysis and innovation, capacity analysis, inventory management, postponement, production control, supply chain design, coordination, and sustainability, operational risk, quality management, revenue management and pricing.
This course examines the macroeconomic environment affects to the decisions of managers. To start, the course explores the economic thought of different schools and how they may explain the functions of markets and respective economic cycles. The course helps students understand the recent global economic crisis while possibly forecast future economic busts. The course also consider the role of the entrepreneur and the different influences of entrepreneurs on a nation’s economics.
